Belfast is located up the coast from Portland, Maine.
About 3.5 hours north of Boston and about 45 minutes south of Acadia National Park.
There are many ways to travel to the coast, and we will be posting directions shortly.

Places to stay:

Belfast is a small sea-side town located in mid-coast Maine. There are a great many accommodations in town and the surrounding areas. What follows is the short list of B&B's and rentals we can personally recommend but many more options can be found through the Belfast Chamber of Commerce.
Bed and Breakfast's:
The WatchTide Inn~ Searsport, Maine: cozy and stately and located right on the shore.
The Alden House ~ Belfast, Maine: located a few blocks up from the ocean and right intown.
Cottages:
Wonderview Cottages~ Belfast, Maine: located right on the ocean with many different options and price ranges.
Camping and Cabins:
Searsport Shores~ Searsport, Maine: located just a few miles from the wedding site. Tenting and cabins available.
Hotels/Motels:
Colonial Gables~Searsport, Maine:very cute and cozy motel location that overlooks the bay.
Comfort Inn~ Belfast, Maine: your standard hotel with dining, pool and an ocean view.

Alex and I work on a farm in Maine in the summers. Alex works on the farm and I work in the farm restaurant.
{last summer i did try my hand at picking cut flowers for the in-house farmers market}
Right after our engagement we found these!

Our menu for dinner on Saturday is full of pies! Savory root veggie pies, some more standard English type dinner pies, etc.
But we also have a place for everyone and anyone to share there fave recipes with us.
The Zany Pie Table is your chance to bring along a treat, Sweet or Savory and have us all eat it up.
