Alexander and Jes met on Jes' birthday in 2003. After a year of friendship, a year of arboretum walks beneath the cherry blossoms, & a year of the fields and streams~ Alex put on an Erik Satie record, got down on one knee, and they were engaged!

Belfast is a tiny village nestled on the coast of Maine. It has a great downtown full of shops and restaurants and even a great little art-deco movie theater. Be sure not to miss the Belfast Co-op and The Green Store for some eco-friendly goods. Catch a bite to eat at Chase's Daily and Three Tides, both offering a locally grown and fresh caught menu.
